TIP FOR SCHOOLS WITH UNDER-PERFORMING STUDENTS
A nationally-recognized school assigns under-performing transfer students to complete a computer-delivered phonetics course during the first six weeks of enrollment. New students up-grade word decoding skills sufficient to “handle” grade-level core subjects. They are then placed on Paradigm Accelerated Curriculum. Students are motivated/inspired to complete courses as rapidly as desired or a slowly as needed to earn transcript credit.
TIPS FOR SCHOOLS WHICH USE COMPUTER-BASED LEARNING SYSTEMS
Network down-time can be devastating and wasteful. A contingency plan is to assign every student at least two paper-based PAC courses which serve as a safety net when the server crashes. Students simply divert energy to the PAC paper-based courses and continue learning until the network system is restored. Students then resume their normal daily schedules.
